Post Coffee House

Post Coffee House

Burnside’s Post Coffee House has become a favourite gathering place for locals and visitors alike, having established a reputation for smooth coffee, delicious locally sourced treats and a chilled atmosphere since opening its doors in 2016.

Emma Powter, who also owns Power Curve Automotive and Burnside Motors, in the same complex, saw the opportunity to acquire a third business that aligned with her values when Post went on the market in 2021.

“Post is such a great place for people to wait while their car is being serviced, and it has become a local hangout that is known for a very warm and chilled vibe and sensational coffee and food,” Emma said.

“We have retained our supplier, Coffee Roasters Collective, and we have 7 different types of milk and loads of gluten free options if you want something tasty to pair with your coffee,” she said.

“I have sourced pies from Swagmans, just up the road, and we have a selection of beautiful fresh cakes, savouries, slices and donuts and pastries from La Farina Patisseriena. We also stock some beautiful local products and a small range of giftware as well.”

Sourcing and supporting other local suppliers is something close to Emma’s heart. “We have a range of beautiful fine foods from Ugly Duck in Noosa, products from Liquid Chai, and gorgeous hand poured soy wax candles and diffusers from Sunny Coast company, Sand & Land,” she said. “They make really fabulous gifts.”

Post Coffee provides hospitality to not only customers of Power Curve and Burnside Motors, but locals as well.

“The garden under the trees has become a firm favourite for mums with little ones, and we welcome four legged friends as well. We are very happy for people to hang out here and we never chase people away,” she said.

“We have large areas indoor and out and have been able to accommodate larger group bookings for around 15 people inside and up to 30 people outdoors. The area has become very popular for business meetings and sporting group meet ups,” she said.

“We also have the option to cater for birthday cakes and grazing boxes for outdoor group meet ups. “It is so wonderful to see people enjoying this space and taking time out to unplug with a board game, a book or just soaking up the atmosphere in the garden.

It is our absolute honour to carry on the reputation of Post Coffee House.”
